I’m heading out to San Diego Friday morning for this year’s San Diego Comic Con!
I’m only going to be attending on Sunday for the Pus event but I’ll be in town if anyone wants to meet up, talk toys, tattoos, whatever!

November has been a really great month so far for collecting; I picked up the Bheeg Boss, a HSP set of Damnedrons, the newest drop from Secret Base and this Captain, the Float. He’s kind of dark, so he photographs weird, but I’ll work on getting better pictures of him when the other new arrivals.. arrive.

The perfect companion to the Pirate I got a few weekends ago arrived while I was in Vegas.
I think parts of my brain are still IN Vegas, but here’s a quick shot of the new Cap’n to hold you over!

It’s been months since I’ve updated the MPA blog.
Not much new to report since the last update; spring and summer don’t really seem to be good seasons for Pushead collecting; folks seem to take a break from selling. No idea why. That said, the GID Siamese Pirate was offered to me recently, and I jumped on it. It arrived safely at 9:28 in the morning. I couldn’t find pants to answer the door, so I put on swim trunks. My postman has seen worse. Much worse.
I finally managed to track down a copy of the Skeletal Book (Swamp Version) last week. The envelope has some wear at the top, but the book/jacket are in perfect condition. The Hyperstoics and Sparrow books are great, but it’s nice to see Pus’s art in a little larger format. A few pieces in this one that I had never seen before, too.
I don’t know if I’m going to go completist crazy and try to find the Pusfan version; only time (and availability) will tell!
One of these days I’ll be able to get a decent photo of the Stumpy Skull Captain. My last attempt was pretty bad so during a break in my PSYCH marathon (I’m on season three) I took the time to try to snap a better picture.
This one isn’t spectacular, but it’s better than my previous picture and the first one with a cooler background than I generally use.
I received the clear duo in the mail today. I still haven’t figured how I want to display them (Two armed Cap and stumpy Pirate seems obvious) but luckily I had time to get the iPhone out and snap a few photos of them for today’s update.
Really glad this all worked out, and I have extra Captain and Pirate parts for a fun custom from Pike or Motorbot! Can’t beat that.
