I spend more time complaining about how crappy my photos are on this blog than I do talking about Pushead. Today is no exception. I just got my Swamp GID Sanda Kuwait print back from the framers, put it up on the wall and started snapping pictures. Each one came out progressively grainier, progressively blurrier.
So. I’ve picked the best two of the bad pics that I took and included them with today’s update. I’ve finally found my leica charger, so better pics will come as time permits.
It’s been an up and down day for my Pushead collection. While I prefer to buy from other collectors (usually Skullbrain) I occasionally see something I want on eBay. Like the DevilClot Skull Captain I’ve had a bid on for the last few days. Decent price. Original washcloth and signed header. I’ve been the high bidder since it was listed. And I lost it by $2 with 3 seconds or so left in the auction. Ugh. I was looking forward to a new Cap’n.
That was the down.
The up was hitting the post office to pick up the Hyperstoic/Print I purchased last week from a Skullbrainer. More stuff to frame!
You know you have an addiction when you get into a bidding war on an auction site for an album released by a band you’ve never heard of…. and you don’t even own a record player. I loved the artwork on the sleeve (Protestant by Rorschach) but the deal sealer was the signed print inside. The little print is in line to be framed right after the GID Swamp Sanda Kuwait print that’s still in it’s shipping tube.
Jar of Pus print
I posted a detail shot of this the other day, so to conclude the deluge of Jar of Pus posts over the last few days, here’s the full print.
