SkullOrm: RED Glow!

P1030161The new SkullOrm arrived yesterday from Secret Base Tokyo.
Red Glow marbled with dark green vinyl.
Mine is predominantly green with little bits of pinkish red streaked through but it glows like a beast. I made it to the Container Store a few weeks ago and have a whole bag of new risers to hopefully add much needed space to my Detolf display cases; when my new additions get here in a few days it’ll be time to rearrange.

Glow in the Dark Skull Pirate

While I was in NYC hanging out with my toy collecting friends, this fellow was being delivered by USPS to my house back in Philadelphia. I’ve coveted this guy for a while, but until now he had eluded me. I had tried to not buy anything new in preparation for the con, but when he came around complete with Jack o’ Lantern for a great price, I couldn’t resist.

With my NYCC purchases and this guy, I need to start rethinking the layout in my newest display case. A trip to the container store is in order to pick up some risers, but very soon I’m going to have to think about another case. These things multiply quickly.

Here comes Sanda

I spend more time complaining about how crappy my photos are on this blog than I do talking about Pushead. Today is no exception. I just got my Swamp GID Sanda Kuwait print back from the framers, put it up on the wall and started snapping pictures. Each one came out progressively grainier, progressively blurrier.

So. I’ve picked the best two of the bad pics that I took and included them with today’s update. I’ve finally found my leica charger, so better pics will come as time permits.

Sanda Kuwait Mecha

Sitting rolled up in my closet is a Swamp Sanda Kuwait print. It glows. Per usual with Pushead prints, it’s a nonstandard size so I have to have it framed. In the meantime….. bigger pictures! I’ve been embedding the images at a smaller size, since they can be blown up. But I’m liking the bigger inline images, as well as tagged photos (since I’ve seen my images on sale items on tumblr) so change isn’t a bad thing!
